SELL WITH US

We select clothing and accessories that compliment our boutique and are sought after by our customers.

Clothing and accessories are sold by us on behalf of the owner and we pay you 50% of the selling price (GST excl). Payment is made through internet banking or can be used as a credit instore. It is your responsibility to provide the correct bank account number to Madison Rose.

On occasions, we do a buy outright, however, the price will be lower than if selling on consignment.

Garments must be clean and/or dry-cleaned and in perfect saleable condition, subject to Madison Rose’s discretion. Any mending or cleaning will be advised and the cost will be passed onto you.

Garments will be marketed for a 4 week period at FULL price and then we ask you to make contact with us for an update. We may then reduce prices by 20% but this is subject to our discretion. After being in store for 8 weeks, garments will be reduced by 50% and remain in stock for a further 2 weeks. We also have a bargain rack of $50 and less and you may wish for your garments to enjoy some time there if you are not wanting them back prior to being donated to charity.  Higher end pieces will be subject to discussion with you and will not automatically be reduced.

Once your items have expired, we will contact you using the phone number you provided to advise that they are ready for collection. If we do not hear from you, then the items will be donated to charity.

You will be provided with your own customer number which we ask you to quote when enquiring about your garments. It is your responsibility to stay in contact with Madison Rose regarding your items.

You may withdraw your items from Madison Rose at any time, however, we ask for a phone call in advance so that we can remove and check them off and finalise your account.

We are a small boutique and in general, do not examine your garments on the spot (normal turn around time is 2-3 days). Once we have selected what we wish to sell, we write a receipt with the selling price for you and will contact you. Pricing is done at our discretion unless we have discussed otherwise. Any items that we do not take need to be collected within 2 weeks, otherwise they will be donated to charity.

We will always do our best to take care of your garments but Madison Rose takes no responsibility for damage or loss to goods during the sale process.
